Faith Dynamics
"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth, he confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10: 9-10
Belief does not start with external action, but with internal conviction. Authentic faith, external action is always the result of internal conviction. Many are putting behavior before belief-it's called going through the motions(inauthentic faith). One must ask does my behavior line up with my belief?
What one believes must always be processed by the mind and heart. One must always ask is my faith growing is it decreasing or remaining the same? We all check the fluids in our vehicles, we should also check the faith in our hearts. What is the external behavior which reflects the state of your faith?
Lord God give me the grace to check my faith give me to know it's status at all times and teach me what to do to nourish it, in Jesus's name-Amen.
