At Carein Counseling, I provide therapy in Warren, Rhode Island, for children, teens, adults, men, and women who are looking for support with emotional, behavioral, relationship, or everyday life challenges.
You may be dealing with anxiety, stress, grief, relationship concerns, family conflict, parenting challenges, life changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. Therapy gives you a private, supportive place to talk openly, better understand what you are experiencing, and work through what has been weighing on you.
Support for All Ages & Stages
Therapy can be helpful at many different ages and stages of life.
I work with:
Children who are struggling with emotions, behavior, school, or changes at home.
Teens dealing with stress, anxiety, identity, relationships, or family concerns.
Adults navigating work, relationships, grief, parenting, or major life changes.
Men who may need a private place to talk about stress, pressure, relationships, or personal concerns.
Women looking for support through relationships, motherhood, life changes, anxiety, or other emotional concerns.
Faith-Based Counseling
For some people, faith is an important part of how they understand their life, relationships, struggles, and decisions.
Christian and faith-based counseling can give you space to talk about both your mental and emotional health and the role your faith plays in what you are going through.
You may want to include prayer, Scripture, spiritual values, questions about faith, or your relationship with God as part of therapy. Or you may simply want a counselor who understands that your beliefs are an important part of who you are.
Faith-based counseling can be helpful when you are working through:
Anxiety, stress, or worry
Grief and loss
Marriage or relationship concerns
Parenting challenges
Major life changes
Guilt, shame, or forgiveness
Questions about purpose or direction
Times when you feel distant from your faith
Difficult experiences that have affected how you see yourself, others, or God
Your faith does not have to be perfect or uncomplicated to be part of counseling. You can bring your questions, doubts, concerns, and beliefs into the conversation honestly.
Christian counseling can be included when it feels meaningful and helpful to you, while still focusing on the emotional, relational, and practical concerns that brought you to therapy.
In-Person Therapy
If you prefer face-to-face support, in-person therapy is available at my office in Warren, RI.
Some people feel more comfortable having a separate place to step away from daily responsibilities, settle in, and focus fully on themselves for a while.
In-person therapy can be especially helpful if you value direct conversation, a quiet setting, and the routine of physically coming to a space that is dedicated to your care.
Online Therapy
Virtual therapy is also available if you want more flexibility.
Online counseling allows you to meet from a private space at home or another location that works for you. It can be a helpful option if you have a busy schedule, transportation concerns, parenting responsibilities, or simply feel more comfortable talking from a familiar environment.
Many of the same concerns that are addressed in person can also be worked through through online therapy, including anxiety, stress, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, parenting challenges, and more.
Whether you choose in-person or virtual therapy, the goal is the same: to give you a supportive place to talk honestly, feel heard, and get help with what you are going through.
