Belief does not start with external action, but with internal conviction. Authentic faith, external action is always the result of internal conviction. Many are putting behavior before belief-it's called going through the motions(inauthentic faith). One must ask does my behavior line up with my belief?
It is amazing how what I call the Greater Good Disorder(GGD) has been allowed to prevail throughout history. Throughout history, people have turned their eyes and minds away from evil with the mental justification that a greater good will come out of this evil. Genocide has even been given sanitized names such as “ethnic cleansing” which almost makes the evil done seem like a service to humanity rather than a disservice.
Of course many people are anxious in the midst of this pandemic. On the 29th March 2020 Dr. Anthony Fauci (the lead immunologist who has advised presidents from Reagan to Trump) announced that between 100, 000 and 200, 000 people could die from the virus! And millions of others could get sick. Many have referenced the “Black death:”
Anyone blind to the spiritual world as a consequence is bound to the material world! We need the Spirit from God to understand the things given to us by God. Without God’s enablement, we see the treasures of God as trash. Human wisdom and understanding only enables us to understand the physical world.
